Athlete and Scholar: Chris’s athletic endeavors span beyond running; he’s a distinguished cross-country skier and a cyclocross racer who has reached the podium at Nationals, showcasing his multifaceted athletic skills. Oceanographic Excellence: The call of the ocean brought Chris back to Halifax, where he completed his Ph.D. studies in oceanography. As a professor at Dalhousie University, Chris’s research focuses on biological and chemical oceanography, highlighting his dedication to understanding and preserving our marine environments.
