We at Audi Halifax are proud to announce that we are going to be sponsoring Quinn to assist him with his 2021 Team Canada goals.
Quinn was born, raised, and is currently living in Halifax. He has previously played football at high school, university, and professional levels (CFL). Having played at Sir John A MacDonald, Mount Allison University and Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2014-2015.
In 2015 Quinn started Olympic Weightlifting and has developed an extremely impressive resume in the last few years!

  • Provincial Record Holder in Snatch, Clean and Jerk, and Total. 
  • 4x National Competitor (2016-2019). - 2020 Cancelled due to COVID-19. 
  • 2x National Champion (2018, 2019). - 2020 Cancelled due to COVID-19. 
  • 6x Team Canada Member
  • 2019 Las Vegas International Open (DNF). 
  • 2019 Pan-American Championships in Guatemala (7th). 
  • 2019 San Diego International Open (1st). 
  • 2020 Roma World Cup, Olympic Qualifier (7th). 
  • 2020 Pan-American Championships in the Dominican Republic. - Cancelled/Rescheduled due to COVID-19 
  • 2020 Uzbekistan Independence Day Cup (5th) - conducted online
Quinn’s goal is to continue to defend my National Championship title until his retirement. His objective is to continue to be a Team Canada member and represent Canada at several international competitions per year. In the process work to break the Canadian Records for Snatch, Clean and Jerk, and Total.
He also is looking forward to representing Canada in the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, UK. Then go on to represent Canada in the 2023 Pan-Am Games in Santiago, Chile. And finally, the main objective to represent Canada in the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France.
